911 GROUND AMBULANCE SERVICE
Cal-Ore Life Flight’s ground ambulance service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Since 1998, our highly-trained medical teams have a solid track record of providing exceptional medical care to members of and visitors to our region.
NON-EMERGENCY MEDICAL TRANSPORTS
Cal-Ore’s non-emergent medical transportation is designed to provide Curry and Del Norte County residents with a low-cost emergency transportation option. Individuals wishing to use this service must be able to walk onto our vehicle or be loaded onboard on a wheelchair. Examples of occasions appropriate for Cal-Ore’s non-emergency ground transport are when you need a ride to and from a medical appointment or if you require transportation home following a hospital stay. Our vehicles include a spacious wheelchair van, a stretcher van with an electric lift and a sedan. All are staffed by knowledgeable, thoughtful drivers trained in First Aid and CPR. Please note that non-emergent transport service is designed for those individuals requiring transportation only; our non-emergent transport staff does not provide patient care.
911 SERVICE AREAS
Cal-Ore’s 911 ground service area encompasses all of Curry County. We also provide service for interfacility transfers such as from Sutter Coast Hospital to Medford, Oregon, or from Curry General Hospital to Coos Bay, Oregon.
