Always dial 911. As the exclusive franchise operator for all of Curry County, Oregon, Cal-Ore will respond immediately.
If the ambulance takes me to the hospital and I am treated and released, will the ambulance take me home?
Once you are delivered safely to the hospital, the ambulance becomes available to cover any other 911 calls received. If you would like to be taken home by ambulance, pre-arrangements must be made with our office. Please note that most insurance providers do not cover non-emergent transports.
What types of emergencies is your ground ambulance crew qualified to handle?
Our personnel are equipped and trained to handle all types of emergencies and to provide the best possible pre-hospital care. Each Advanced Life Support ambulance carries a full range of medical equipment, supplies and medications and meets the State of Oregon Health Division licensing standards.
